I work at a flea market in Detroit on Fridays, and there is a lady (Miss DNA) who has a little holistic health shop. One day, I was telling her about the many ailments I go through and all the remedies I've tried. She then introduced me to Maca Root (in powder form, also comes in liquid) which has a list of issues it helps with. I must say that it has proven to help me. I noticed that I have to stay on a regimen and not skip days. You can mix it with power shakes, food, or take it as is. I've done all three and they all work just fine. Here's a little information about the root and the way it helps.

Some people don't care for the taste. I think it tastes like bread, some people say it has a "nutty" taste to it. If you're looking for a natural pick me up, this is my personal recommendation. If you stay in the Metro Detroit area, I suggest buying some for a really good price from Ms. DNA inside the Russel Bazaar (located at 1600 Clay)
